Don't Choose a Charity Based on Administration Costs
Saundra, I've been following this issue a little more and am disturbed to find that some local police have been using at least one hospital that has been highlighted to me as a place to traffick children.
Also, your post on family reunion before adoption fits the issue so well. Good intentions can often create a mess.
Thanks for the effort you're putting in here. I've been telling friends and colleagues about your blog - it has been an excellent "find".

I'm glad you like it and would be interested in seeing your post on child trafficking. But don't thank me thank Linda Raftree, she was kind enough to let me crosspost. A link to her blog can be found at the top of the page.

Thanks for this, Saundra. It's a good article and provides some excellent information on the need to protect and involve children in the situation in Haiti.
I have linked to it within the very brief article I have written on the problem of child trafficking in the wake of the earthquake. Mine is nowhere near as thorough or informed as this though, so hopefully people follow the links :)
